Sometimes after joining the game, you join the game as a BLUFOR/OPFOR unit, assigned to an unknown side. You have the menus, but you don't see your teammates in the team menu, don't see anyone in the commander vote menu. You can see "previous side - BLUFOR, current side - UNKNOWN" text (or "previous side - OPFOR,..." in case of joining the OPFOR)
